Temitope Olukomogbon is a Public Health Researcher. She currently coordinates trainings targeted to build the research capacity of clinicians and public health researchers.
She provides support and advice for PIs, and Coordinators on Research funding/grant opportunities and ensures eligibility for funding call and gather supplementary documents.
She also interfaces with grants management and finance; tracks grant funding spending, maintains submitted grants database and tracks investigators grant histories and success rates. Temitope manages the social media platforms and updates the IRCE Website
As a public health enthusiast, she has worked with the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria as the assistant coordinator for the cancer registry program (NSCR). She successfully trained and established new cancer registries across various states in the country within the space of 2 years. She managed the cancer registries of various states and also served as the study coordinator for various research projects (CVS and WES study) within the institute. Currently she serves as the Training Coordinator and Research Administrator for the institute.
Temitope obtained a master’s degree in Public Health from University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria.
