IRCE provides data management and biostatistics services to researchers as needed and in line with terms of engagement well delineated in-service contracts. Services include:

DATA REPOSITORY

The International Research Center of Excellence (IRCE) provides and fosters opportunities for clinical and epidemiological research at the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN) as well as implements research to improve prevention, care and treatment of people living with HIV in Nigeria.

IRCE aims to make all research data and metadata available to reinforce open scientific inquiry, encourage diversity of analysis and opinion, promote new research, test new or alternative hypotheses and methods of analysis, facilitate the education of new researchers and enable the exploration of topics not envisioned by the initial investigators.

At the data unit training, we had a review of various data management tools. Mastering the use of some features I discovered significantly enhanced my data management skills, ensuring the timely completion of my deliverables.
