30 people, from the research and programme departments within IHVN participated in the data sharing and data curation workshop. This workshop introduced data sharing and data curation, using dataverse – an open source web application to share, preserve, cite, explore, and analyze research data. It was also an opportunity to stress the need for the research community at IHVN to make data available to public and allow other researchers worldwide replicate and add value to our published research. The course helped participants understand the good data sharing and curation practices. The course was delivered by experienced faculty members of from The Global Health Network and KEMRI Wellcome Trust Kenya.
